Lamb of God Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), rooted in the truth of God’s Word and centered on Jesus Christ.
We Believe in God’s Word
The Holy Scriptures are the inspired and authoritative Word of God. Through His Word, God created the world, reveals His will, and brings salvation through Jesus Christ. As the Gospel of John declares, Jesus is the eternal Word made flesh, who was with God and is God from the beginning (John 1:1–14). We believe that God’s Word is living, active, and accomplishes His purposes.
We Worship Liturgically
As a liturgical church, our worship is shaped by Scripture and the historic practices of the Christian Church. Through prayers, hymns, readings, preaching, and the celebration of the Sacraments, we receive God’s gifts and respond with praise and thanksgiving. Our worship centers on the saving work of Jesus Christ and equips us to live out our faith in daily life.
We Treasure the Sacraments
We believe that God comes to His people through both His spoken Word and His visible Word in the Sacraments. Through Holy Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confession and Absolution, God delivers His grace, forgiveness, and the assurance of salvation promised in Christ.
