The Men’s Prayer Breakfast is scheduled for 8:30 AM on the third Saturday of the month  at the Mat-Su Family Diner (in Value Village Mall). Join Pastor Larmi and other men of the congregation for prayer, fellowship, and breakfast.

The 2026 LWML Spring Joy Shop will be held April 18^th from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at St John, Palmer:

Arise & Shine (Isiah 6:61) is the theme.

Servant event will be Family Promise.

In-depth study and discussion of God’s word from a historical, practical, and theological standpoint.

Location: Fellowship Hall

Lutheran Women in Mission adopts a Specific Ministry Path (SMP) Seminary Student and supports them through graduation and ordination by collecting donations from the congregation on the third Sunday of each month. An SMP student is typically a second-career seminary student, studying while also holding down a job and raising a family. The funds collected by Lutheran Women in Mission is forwarded to the SMP student on a quarterly basis to assist in paying for their books and tuition.

Liturgical service including sacramental worship.

Service from Creative Worship for the Lutheran Parish, Series A. Liturgical music is from the Lutheran Service Book, Divine Service One, Beginning on Page 151. All hymns are from the Lutheran Service Book, per the Hymn Number listed.

Quarterly business meeting for the Mission and Ministry Council. All Council Members are expected to attend; Lamb of God Members are welcome to attend, but may not vote.

Video and workbook study “Unbreakable.”  All adult and young-adult women welcome. New attendees can jump in at any time, no need to wait for the end of the study!

In-depth study of the books of the Bible, led by Pastor Eugene Larmi. All adults welcome. Currently studying Luke.

The Ladies’ Luncheon is scheduled for 11:00 AM on the fourth Saturday of the month at the Mat-Su Family Diner (in Value Village Mall). These luncheons are “Dutch Treat.”
